The ED-IPC2500 is an industrial computer designed with resilience and adaptability in mind, featuring a robust Broadcom BCM2711 CPU. This quad-core Cortex-A72 processor, based on the 64-bit ARM v8 architecture and clocking at 1.5GHz, offers substantial computational power. The system is configurable with up to 8GB of LPDDR4-3200 SDRAM, and storage options range from 0GB to 32GB of eMMC, with the added flexibility of a Micro SD card that supports booting the operating system and an optional mSATA SSD.

Visual output is facilitated by an HDMI port compatible with HDMI 2.1 standard, enabling 4K resolution at 60Hz, ensuring high-quality display capabilities. For wireless communication, the ED-IPC2500 comes equipped with 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and is 5G ready, making it a versatile choice for connecting to various networks.

The computer is furnished with three Gigabit Ethernet ports and two USB 2.0 ports, providing ample options for wired connectivity. Power is supplied through a wide voltage range of DC 9V to 36V, with safeguards against reverse polarity, overvoltage, and overcurrent. Additional features include an integrated supercapacitor for backup power supply (optional), an RTC, a watchdog timer, an EEPROM, and crypto authentication, enhancing the device's reliability and security.

The ED-IPC2500 operates over a wide temperature range of -25℃ to 60℃, suitable for diverse environments. Its compact dimensions of 143mm x 100mm x 34mm and weight of 750g make it a portable yet sturdy industrial solution. The high-quality metal case is designed for desktop mounting and can also accommodate antennas for wireless communication.

The front of the unit features DC power input and three Gigabit Ethernet ports for network access. On the rear, a Micro-SD card slot allows for OS booting, a Nano SIM card slot enables 5G connectivity, and a Micro USB port is available for system flashing. Side I/O includes an HDMI port and two USB 2.0 ports, along with SMA ports for connecting 5G antennas.

The ED-IPC2500 also includes reset and power buttons, along with various indicators such as a 5G signal indicator, a system activity light, and a user-definable indicator. For expansion, it offers 12V 1A and 5V 1A DC output connectors, a 40-Pin GPIO header compatible with CM4, and a 10-Pin GPIO header for custom functions. USB 2.0 ports and a Mini PCIe connector for SSD connectivity are also available for additional expansion possibilities.

The ED-IPC2500 ensures device ease-of-use and security with its EEPROM and crypto authentication features, maintains system clock continuity with an RTC, and includes a buzzer for alarms and a watchdog function for reliability. With certifications such as FCC and CE, the ED-IPC2500 adheres to international standards, making it suitable for a broad range of industrial applications.
