Exclusive Report from EDATEC: Raspberry Pi 5 Officially Launched!

This Pi 5 comes from the headquarters of Raspberry Pi in the UK, and as the official distributor of Raspberry Pi, EDATEC is honored to be the first to unveil the mysterious veil of the Pi 5 at the time of its debut:

Raspberry Pi 5: A Remarkable New Birth! Surpassing the peak of Raspberry Pi 4, this is the latest work in the Raspberry Pi series of computers. The new generation CPU performance has been improved by 2-3 times, the GPU has been greatly upgraded, and the camera, display, and USB interfaces have all been comprehensively improved. This interface revolution is thanks to the RP1 I/O control chip developed by Raspberry Pi itself, which is the first time a Raspberry Pi chip has been used in a flagship product!

Main Features of Raspberry Pi 5 :

Powerful Performance: 2.4GHz quad-core 64-bit Arm Cortex-A76 CPU, 512KB L2 cache and 2MB shared L3 cache, with VideoCore VII GPU.
Large Memory: LPDDR4X-4267 SDRAM, (4GB and 8GB SKUs available at launch)
Wireless Connectivity: 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 / Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
Multi-Interface Support: Micro-SD card slot, supporting high-speed SDR104 mode, 2 × USB 3.0 ports (5Gbps concurrent), 2 × USB 2.0 ports.
Networking Upgrade: Gigabit Ethernet, supporting PoE+ (requires PoE+ HAT)
Versatile I/O: 2 × 4-lane MIPI camera/display transceivers, PCIe 2.0 x1 interface for fast peripheral connections.
Powerful Power: 5V/5A DC power (with PD enabled).
Expandable Pins: Raspberry Pi standard 40-pin header, Real-Time Clock (RTC) powered by external battery.
Convenient Control: On-board power button

Traceability: Based on user requests, Raspberry Pi 5 has added two new features to help track product sales (and potential returns):

1)A marking on the top side of each PCB to identify the memory density of the specific board (as shown in the image).
2)A unique serial number on the PCB and the outer packaging of all boards.
