One of the standout aspects of the CM4 IO Smart Case is its one-click switch, which controls the system power through the GPIO3 on the 40pin connector and the software running on the Compute Module 4. This innovative switch method prevents the risk of file system damage and system crashes associated with traditional power supply switches that can interrupt the Compute Module 4's operation.
The case offers comprehensive hardware protection, fitting snugly around the Compute Module 4 IO Board and leading all necessary interfaces out of the enclosure. Its metal construction provides excellent shielding and safeguarding against potential damage in industrial settings. To ensure a secure and reliable connection in vibrating environments, the case includes four nuts that fix the Compute Module 4 to both the IO Board and the case itself. Additionally, four 1.5mm height black nylon washers support the Compute Module 4, preventing PCB deformation and circuit damage.
