1.2 Products Affected

ED-IPC21x0 V1_3

1.3 New Product Version

ED-IPC21x0 V1_4

1.4 Reason for Change

To enhance product features to better meet market requirements.

1.5 Change Description

1.5.1 New Function

None

1.5.2 Optimization

ChangesResults
Electrical isolation between the digital ground and the chassis ground pointPrevents damage to digital circuits caused by accidental electrification or short circuits of the chassis in specific environments (e.g., when the ground point is connected to large motors/frequency converters), thereby improving system safety.
Replacement of the RS485 chipEnhances the ESD protection level (supported ESD discharge voltage increased from ±8KV to ±12KV), improving the long-term reliability of the interface in industrial environments.
Optimization of RTC (Real-Time Clock) accuracyThrough calibration circuit optimization, the RTC accuracy has been improved from a deviation greater than 3 seconds per day to approximately 1 second per day.

1.6 Transition Date

The new version will automatically take effect after the old version materials/products are depleted. Therefore, there will be a transition period during the version switch. Customers may still receive products with the old hardware version (ED-IPC21x0 V1_3) during this transition.

1.7 Identification Method to Distinguish Change

Distinguish by checking the hardware version number on the PCBA inside the product.
