1.5 Change Description
1.5.1 New Function
None
1.5.2 Optimization
| Changes | Results |
|---|---|
| Electrical isolation between the digital ground and the chassis ground point | Prevents damage to digital circuits caused by accidental electrification or short circuits of the chassis in specific environments (e.g., when the ground point is connected to large motors/frequency converters), thereby improving system safety. |
| Replacement of the RS485 chip | Enhances the ESD protection level (supported ESD discharge voltage increased from ±8KV to ±12KV), improving the long-term reliability of the interface in industrial environments. |
| Optimization of RTC (Real-Time Clock) accuracy | Through calibration circuit optimization, the RTC accuracy has been improved from a deviation greater than 3 seconds per day to approximately 1 second per day. |
1.6 Transition Date
The new version will automatically take effect after the old version materials/products are depleted. Therefore, there will be a transition period during the version switch. Customers may still receive products with the old hardware version (ED-IPC21x0 V1_3) during this transition.
1.7 Identification Method to Distinguish Change
Distinguish by checking the hardware version number on the PCBA inside the product.
