The 7-inch ED-HMI product exhibits an intermittent white screen issue after manual power-off and restart
1 Overview
Introducing the background and applicable scenarios of the intermittent white screen issue observed in the 7-inch ED-HMI product following a manual power-off and restart.
1.1 Background
Some users have reported that during normal operation of the 7-inch ED-HMI product, after manually power cycling the device (turning it off and on again), the screen intermittently displays a white screen (as shown in the image below). However, the device can still be accessed remotely via SSH, and external monitors connected via the HDMI interface function normally.

Through analysis and verification, our company has identified the root cause as a defect in the firmware of the LCD screen, which triggers the intermittent white screen issue.
